QUANTUM TOURS, TERMS AND CONDITIONS
(You know, the fine print)

Please read carefully

Tour Prices: Your price for tours taken this year are guaranteed not to change, with the one exception of significant international currency fluctuations.

Courtesy Discounts: All previous travelers with Pattie and Todd Vogel will receive a alumni courtesy discount (see Internet Specials on home page) from the published price of any Quantum Tour of their choice. This offer is good for any tour at any time, and is transferable, and cumulative. If Quantum has other discounts available, a tour member may elect to choose the greater of the two, but of course, they cannot be combined.

Included in price: In the tour price quoted we include everything listed;  i.e. all accommodations, breakfast each day and usually lunch or dinner as listed in your tour description; all transportation from the first to the last hotel, all normal gratuities for drivers, tour leaders, et. al.; admission to all sites listed, and the guidance of TWO knowledgeable tour leaders from pre-tour planning throughout the tour.

Not Included: Air transportation, trip insurance, and personal expenses such as laundry, phone bills, meals not listed, booze, cigarettes, or adoption expenses for that cute Irish kid you saw and wanted to take home.

Registration and Payment: There is a $300.00 per person deposit due with your registration in order to secure your reservation. Final payments are due on or before 60 days from the tour departure date. Failure to do so will result in loss of your deposit and reservation. We gladly accept your personal checks and money orders, but unfortunately cannot accept credit cards . (Please see our FAQ's.)  To avoid disappointment, early registration is essential to guarantee your place on the tour. Registration within 60 days of departure date will require full payment to reserve your space.

Cancellations and Refunds: All deposits are refundable for two weeks from the date they are received. All deposits are not refundable after that time, although they may be applied towards a future tour. All cancellations must be in writing; i.e. email, fax, or snailmail. Cancellations received up to 60 days before the departure date are fully refundable, less the deposit; 30-60 days prior to tour departure will be refunded 50% of the tour price, less deposit; and less than 30 days, no refund will be made. No refunds will be made for any person starting, but not completing the tour for any reason, and no refund can be made for incomplete portions of the tour. Also, no refunds will be made for airline cancellation expenses, etc. We strongly urge you to secure trip/baggage loss/travel cancellation insurance. (see below)

Travel Insurance: Again, to prevent aggravation, irritation, sour stomach, headache and a general overall feeling of discomfiture, we strongly suggest that you secure travel insurance to cover possible unexpected additional costs, i.e.; airline tickets, loss of luggage, trip delay, medical evacuation, etc. You can do this by calling our preferred travel agent, Kathy Lambert (1-800 648-6502)

Tour cancellation: In the unlikely and truly unfortunate event that Quantum Tours must cancel a tour due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances, we will gladly refund all monies collected within 14 days from notification. In such a case, Quantum Tours' sole responsibility is to provide a refund of monies paid to us, without any other financial responsibility whatsoever.

Itinerary Changes: Travel is full of surprises, and we need the flexibility to make changes as we deem necessary in order to provide the best tour experience for you. Therefore, your tour leaders reserve the right to make changes as needed, with any portions of the tour itinerary not completed as insufficient grounds for a refund.

Group size: Our small tour groups generally range in size from 10 to 24 guests.

Single guests: We welcome single guests, however, hotels do charge us a single supplement which we must, reluctantly, pass on to you. If you can find a travel partner to share a room with, the charge can be waived.

Other stuff: We welcome smokers with the understanding there is no smoking on any transportation, nor within the comfort distance of non-smokers. We love kids, but as our itinerary is adult focused, we accept, but not encourage children 14+ yrs; and under the direct supervision of an adult parent or guardian, at all times. To be accepted as a tour member you must agree to abide by all necessary Terms and Conditions of Quantum Tours. Any physical, or mental disabilities must be reported in writing prior to the beginning of any tour. We also reserve the right in our sole discretion, acting in good faith, for any reason, to decline to accept or require any individual to withdraw from any tour, with no financial responsibility whatsoever by us.
